Albert Einstein’s general theory of fashion adaptivity.

“Long hair minimizes the need for barbers; socks can be done without; one leather jacket solves the coat problem for many years; suspenders are superfluous.” — Einstein.

Casper McFadden, the friendly, hair-free ghost.

I’ve got a couple shots tonight from a barbershop storefront in downtown Bellingham that I shot back when I used to work in the area.

Jes’ Barbershop is old-school and looks like a great gentlemen’s hangout, though I’ve never set foot in the place. His windows are festooned with awesome toys and figurines that my kids would die to liberate.

Casper, here, doesn’t seem to be in need of either a shave or a trim. That’s probably why he’s flying around so care-free!

Jes’s Barbershop Glow

Businesses somehow look more inviting when the sharp edges of commerce are softened by fog.

Actually, if I had much hair, I’d likely give this shop my custom.

Don’t toy with me R2!

At a storefront barbershop near my office, there is an array of toys displayed in the front window. They catch my eye every time I walk by. So one evening I stopped by after hours for a little window photography.

I love the triumphant little R2-D2.
